Ben Mullen Architects is an architectural practice based in Wicklow, Ireland. Established in 2020, the practice seeks to address environmental concerns as the primary spatial, ethical, and aesthetic problems of our time.
Within the traditional boundaries of architecture, projects are developed from first principles with sensitivity to site, new material cultures and the histories of construction.The working methodology is open and collaborative, the practice is recognised for its creativity and rigour in the making of buildings and spaces for public and private clients.

Architect Accredited in Conservation at Grade 3
Graduate of SAUL, School of Architecture University of Limerick and NCAD, the National College of Art & Design, Dublin. Since 2016, Design Fellow at the School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy, University College Dublin and design critic at schools of architecture across Ireland and the UK. Since 2026, a member of the editorial board of Architecture Ireland.
In 2023, he was awarded the inaugural Eileen Gray E-1027 Research Fellowship and was the first Irish architect in residence at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris. His work has been exhibited at EV+A, the Irish Architecture Foundation, the Royal Hibernian Academy, the Architecture Centre and the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
In 2025 he was recipient of the RIAI Emerging Architect Award.
