An architectural practice based in Wicklow, Ireland. Established in 2020 the practice seeks to address environmental concerns as the primary spatial, ethical, and aesthetic problems of our time.

Within the traditional boundaries of architecture, projects are developed from first principles with sensitivity to site, new material cultures and the histories of construction.

Ben Mullen MRIAI

Architect Accredited in Conservation at Grade 3

A graduate of SAUL School of Architecture University of Limerick and of the National College of Art & Design. Since 2016 he is Design Fellow at the School of Architecture, Planning & Environmental Policy University College Dublin and has been invited design critic to multiple schools of architecture in Ireland and the UK. In 2023 he was the recipient of the inaugural Eileen Gray Research Fellowship and was the first Irish architect in residence at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris, France.

His work has been exhibited at EV+A, The RIAI Architecture Centre, IMMA and the RHA and most recently at the IAF. He has worked extensively with the Irish Architecture Foundation on the Architects in Schools programme to make architectural education accessible to all age levels.

In 2025 he was awarded the RIAI Emerging Architect Award.
